Youth Health Talk

YouthHealthTalk
Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm, and Thursday 8.30 - 12pm. Out with these hours please telephone NHS 24 on 111.

The surgery closes for staff training between 12pm - 2pm.

A receptionist at the emergency call centre will answer your call and either:

  • Arrange advice from a doctor or nurse 
  • Invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor. 
  • Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre.

Transport to and from the centre is available if you cannot arrange this yourself. Please take a leaflet for further details from reception. Out of hours cover is now the responsibility of GGNHSB. 
  
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
